Synopsis

The film revolves around the life of Gangubai Kothewali, a powerful woman in the 60s, who was also known as the ‘Madam of Kamathipura’ for her connections with the underworld. She was a young girl sold into prostitution by her boyfriend Ramnik Lal, and how she becomes the madam of a brothel in Kamathipura.
